Bobby Le // Pathways & Perspectives

I started running as a mean to lose weight. However, running has given me back so much more. Running has given me a tremendous community in Northwest Arkansas who supports me and inspires me to better. Running has given me confidence to do things I didn’t know were possible. But the greatest thing running has given me is courage. I was a sexual assault victim as a child. I told nobody about it until 2018 after about 30 years of silence. I now use the courage running has given me to share my story, and if my story just touches one life enough for them to speak up about their abuse, I’ve done what I’ve sought out to do. Without running and the running community, that would not be possible.
