Siloam Springs Neighborhood Greenway Pilot Project

ETHIC worked with the City of Siloam Springs to approve the design and installation of a safe and low-stress bicycle connection from downtown Siloam Springs to the Dogwood Springs Walking trail located West of Carl Street. This establishes a neighborhood greenway access between downtown Siloam Springs and neighborhoods and schools situated to the west.

A neighborhood greenway is a traffic calmed, slow-speed street that creates a shared space for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. This is done through a combination of pinch points and speed humps. This project also includes a small section of enhanced bike lanes that uses zebras to separate vehicles from cyclists. This project was contracted with LaneShift Mobility.
