TRAIL ADOPTION PROGRAM
Trailblazers Trail Adoption Program brings the community together to maintain the trails we all love here in Northwest Arkansas. You can choose to adopt your favorite segment of trail, join a Trail LUV Day, organize a private trail maintenance day for your workplace or school group, donate to the trails based on the miles you ride, and more! Join with over 500 volunteers to help keep our trails in great shape.
Adopt a Trail
Volunteering with the Trail Adoption Program is a fun and easy way to give back to the trails and community we all love so much. You can choose a section of trail to adopt and maintain, plus we host Trail LUV Days you can participate in. Just fill out the application and select your trail segment, complete the background check & waiver and we'll see you out there!
Ways to Support TAP
Donate through Trail Care based on your miles ridden.
Simply connect your Strava account, and each time you complete a ride in our area you’ll be notified via email asking if you’d like to complete your donation! Set your own $/mile amount, change it any time, opt out or in as you wish, and you’ll never be charged a donation amount without your permission. Trailblazers is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and all donations are tax deductible. You’ll receive monthly receipts to keep track of your contributions.
Make an In-Kind Donation
We welcome donations of rakes, wheelbarrows, bug spray, loppers, gas cans, weed eaters and other light tools and equipment needed to keep our trails maintained. Please reach out to TAP@WeAreTrailblazers.org if you’d like more info.
Sponsor a Trail LUV Day
Each month we host Trail LUV Days for the trails around Northwest Arkansas. There are usually 10-20 participants, and sponsors cover items like snacks, drinks and food. Please reach out to TAP@WeAreTrailblazers.org if you’d like more info.
Drink Beer! No, Really!
10% of all Slaughter Pen IPA Sales from Bike Rack Brewing go directly to supporting the Trail Adoption Program. See you at the bar!
Make a Direct Donation
It’s tax-deductible!
Need to report trail conditions?
The best way to report trees down, washouts, etc. is via TrailForks or by emailing TAP@wearetrailblazers.org.
Hey volunteers, log your hours!
Make sure to log all of the work that you complete on the trails, whether or not you are an official TAP Volunteer! It helps us keep track of our impact. Once you follow the link, you can also save the log to your phone’s home screen so you can go straight there each time.
