A group of five adults cycle across a street

Rogers Slow Streets

The purpose of Slow Streets NWA is to make streets safer to walk, bike, and explore by creating accessible spaces for safe activities outdoors and increasing connectivity. On these streets, residents can exercise, make trips to local businesses, and explore the community right from their own neighborhood. The program focuses on areas lacking complete sidewalks and bike/pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, traffic-calming measures, and low-accessibility to trails and amenities.

The City of Rogers and BikeNWA are in conversations about continuing the Slow Streets program.
