The Hobbs War Eagle Trail Running Festival began back in 2006 as a 10 mile trail race with a couple dozen participants. During the first few years the event was known as the Hobbs Tail Twister benefiting the Rogers Lions Club. We are grateful for the continued support from our runners and are proud of having donated more than $100,000 to the Rogers Lions Club and the Friends of Hobbs. Each year we strive to make it just a little better than the year before. The trails at Hobbs are among the most "runnable" in NW Arkansas. Not too technical or steep. Perfect for first time trail racers or veterans wanting to cover the trails as fast as possible. We love Hobbs, love our event and love our runners. We encourage you to come out and join us for some fun at Hobbs SP.

*Hobbs State Park is on land that is the ancestral home of the Osage, Choctaw, Quawpaw and later the Cherokee. The First Nations sustainably lived on this land for thousands of years. We acknowledge and respect their sacred bond with this land.*
